We returned from the MAJOR JAMBOREE on the 16th of June after six days of fantastic work. This particular Jamboree absolutely ranks at the very top of successful Jamborees!
What we accomplished in six days was phenomenal. There were sixteen actors in attendance, and from many places in the US, and around the world. We had actors from Spain, from Brazil, from India, and from all over the country.
Susana worked all sixteen actors instrumentally, and each one in a monologue and a scene. I covered all five Megapproaches; Sense Memory, Affective Memory, Subpersonalities, Externals, and Imaging. To the best of my memory I don’t believe I have ever had the time, even in a Major Jamboree to completely explore all five of the Megapproaches. The work was incredible. The entire week was an unique experience for all of us. We worked between twelve and fifteen hours
a day, but still had enough time to enjoy the environment: the pool, the lake, the hot tub and cardio hill which took us on breath taking hikes. We made sure we had time to enjoy ourselves!
We took a lot of pictures, and a video that we will put on the website for you shortly. When the week ended with a wonderful “round” we were literally exhausted, but did not want to leave. There was a lot of love in the air! We have been receiving endless emails of appreciation since then. We have been able to carry the Jamboree into the work we have been doing in class.
We do one Major Jamboree, and three Mini Jamborees a year. The next one is scheduled for September 21st, 22nd, 23rd, & 24th on Subpersonalities and Imaging. It is already two thirds full. Please join us in this next most loving, and unforgettable experience of Self Discovery.
We are about to go on our annual summer vacation, and we will be gone from August 1st through September 10th. When we return we are going to do more videos for the website. Susana and I will alternate, so every month you will receive one video from her, and another one from me.
I still have a good supply of the “The Craft Tapes” which are ten CD’s, and I am in the process of creating another group of CD’s which will cover four of the Megapproaches.
Both Susana, and I are still hard at work writing our books, and we are hoping to finish them sometime next year.
A lot of our actors are working; Rick Fox is going into his second season of “Greenleaf”, John Nicholson is starting his second season of “Murder Chose Me”, and Aisha Dale is a lead in “The Bold Type” which is shooting in Canada, and will air on Tuesday July 11th on Free Form.

Richard Abraham who does not stop working, has just finished a run in the musical adaptation of “Spider Man.” Adam Senn has just returned from Italy after filming a commercial.

Eric and Susana Morris’ yearlong Intensive 2016 has just been completed with the handout of diplomas at a Graduation Ceremony on March 5th amidst cheers, tears, and applause. All participants were ecstatic. Their work was superior! These are some of the pictures taken throughout the evening.

On September 12th Susana and I returned to Los Angeles from a five week vacation in Carmel. We adore Carmel! Walking on Scenic drive along the ocean is like a visit to Paradise. We saw over two dozen movies, and rested a lot recovering from an exhausting year of work, and some health issues. I am still recuperating very nicely. Non-the-less we both worked on writing our books. I was able to accomplish twenty pages while my lovely wife had similar success on her book.
When we returned we jumped right back into teaching the classes and private lessons.
On September 29th we had a Mini Jamboree on Subpersonalities and Imaging which took place at
the UCLA Conference Center in Lake Arrowhead. It ran from the 29th of September to the 2nd of October. We had fourteen actors participating from all over the world: Turkey, Spain, Canada, and US. The work culminated in some of the most incredible scene work I have ever seen in all the years that I have been teaching. Susana worked with them teaching, preparing, and directing them into the kind of work that garners nominations for awards. I was blown away by the quality of their work.

We are so happy that so many of our people are working in the industry. John Nicholson, having done eight segments of a new series that will air in January, was called back to do four more segments. Aisha Dale doesn’t stop working, going from one series to another. Richard Abraham and Mitch Levene are doing a play downtown, “The Tension Experience: Ascension”. They have received great comments on their work. They are fabulous! Suzanne Marie goes from one job to another, and is doing the lead in a short film while rehearsing for another one. After finishing the fourth segment of “American Horror Story” Kamilla Alnes flew to England to do a pilot. She filmed for eight weeks, and returned here for a slew of auditions.
Dafne Samyeli, who is a beautiful and very successful talk show host, and actress in Turkey has come to L.A. to study with Susana and me for a whole year. My classes are going great. Everyone is growing, and the Intensive which Susana teaches mostly, as well as her private sessions are yielding great results for our actors professionally.
This is my 58th year of teaching, or I should say this is my 58th year teaching actors ‘not to act’. It never seems to get old for me. I keep reaching for new inspiration and adding new approaches to the work. I am incredibly proud of what Susana has accomplished. She has built a great following all over the world. For actors who cannot come to the US she works over the telephone or through skype. It works beautifully.
When you wake up every morning be grateful that you are on a chosen journey, count your blessings, and know that the largest number of people on the planet unfortunately never had the opportunity to choose what they wanted to do with their lives.
Be happy and well and remember an actor is an actor twenty four hours a day for the rest of your lives.
Do not forget to go out and vote on November 8th. It is your right and a true blessing.

Hello to everyone on the website. Spring is here, and with it all the plans for a great summer and fall. There is a lot happening and much to share with all of you. I have been under the weather for the last couple of months, and I am recovering quite well. During my illness Susana took over my classes, and everyone has loved her, they can’t get enough of her. Last week I taught a couple of classes, and they went very well. Susana and I will alternate until my energy returns, and that looks like it will be very soon. We have received many orders for “The Craft of Acting Tapes” which come in a package of ten CD’s that cover almost the entire craft process. During the period of my recovery, I have been doing some writing on my next book “A Second Chance at Life.” It should be finished sometime early next year. Susana is also working on her book “The Universe Within.” Whoever finishes first will buy the champagne. It seems like this year is turning out to be a very busy one for us. We are scheduled to do a week long Intensive class in Madrid, Spain in early July. The Major Jamboree is scheduled from June 12th through the 17th at the UCLA Conference Center in Lake Arrowhead. Six days and five nights of incredible work! The Major Jamboree is the premier event of the year. Besides taking place in paradise, the accommodations are five star, and the environment is to die for. We teach twelve to fifteen hours every day. We do instrumental liberation work, scenes, and monologues that we specially assign to you. People leave the Jamboree feeling three feet off the ground. Do not hesitate to join us, jump in!
We are working towards doing more videos to add to the website. It should happen in the near future. The Turks have decided to republish two of my books, “No Acting Please” and “Irreverent Acting,” and they will be translated into Turkish with a different publisher. All eight of my books are on eBooks Kindle Amazon.com.
Quite a number of our people are working or preparing to do so. Angie Cepeda who has been with us for over a decade is working in a show in Colombia. Angie is not only beautiful but incredibly talented, and does a lot of work in the industry. She has starred in two films back to back with Robert Duvall, and has had a recurring role on “Jane The Virgin.” John Nicholson, a long time student of ours has booked a leading role as a detective in a new show. We will tell you all about it in the upcoming months. Nathan Grubbs and Marc Senter formed a company a while back, and are in preparation to do their first film “Nola” which has been totally financed. They are in the process of the selection of the director.
Intensive 2015 graduated at the beginning of March. We are so incredibly proud of the work done… truly superior work! Our warmest, and deeply heart felt congrats to each one of them and their families for their unwavering support.
